OUR MISSION: *apo-press seeks to celebrate and connect diverse creatives by expanding and challenging modes of translation, genre, and convention. *apo-press' mission is to honor multi-modal and multi-lingual work from around the world, and in turn, foster a global creative community.
About our name
The etymological roots of apo are "from, away from; after; in descent from; off," reminding us that we are both deeply rooted in the world, and equally as committed to subverting it--through our work as creatives, and as member of this global family. The artist can use their place, where they are from, as a launchpad, as catalyst, to dream up alternate realities.
