As one of just a few poetry-exclusive shops in the world, Innisfree Poetry in Boulder, Colorado acknowledges and appreciates its role as a nexus for the poetic community. For ten years, the physical café was a place where people could come together to explore and express; a place from which the artist could launch their work into the world. It was more than just selling coffee to poets: Innisfree is still deeply devoted to community partnerships, radical ideas, and to sustainable ideas and practices that will help keep this planet inhabitable in the long run.

Innisfree has a very rich history of visiting poets, dynamic readings, open mics & more. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Innisfree joined forces with collective.aporia to create the Innisfree Workshop Series.

In this ongoing series held both in-person (when appropriate) and online, participants are invited to sign up for a single workshop or a series. For online participants, a downloadable Zoom link will be sent after signing up, and videos will be made available for those who cannot make the live event. Videos will also be archived and available once the event has ended.
