collective.aporia is seeking a Social Media manager. This position will be responsible for the following tasks:
Collective-wide responsibilities:
Exchange
Though we cannot yet pay our team members, you will have access to all workshops, both live and archived. In addition, you will have the option to be published in *apo-press and/or our ongoing blog. We are also happy to promote your work on social media and the website, as well as hold events.

- Writing and editing content for social media posts and email campaigns, including the monthly newsletter.
- Contacting collaborating artists and facilitators to procure content for social media posts.
- Post on social media accounts daily.
- Creating promotional emails to send to schools, arts organizations, art publications, etc.
- Staying up-to-date on resources for artists/community organizations and sharing that information with the community.
- Use creative approaches for expanding collective.aporia’s exposure and overall reach.
Collective-wide responsibilities:
- Check in on Discord every few days to communicate with team members.
- Attend DEI training every two months; Attend all-hands meetings once a month.
- Uphold and represent collective.aporia’s mission.
- Brainstorm and implement creative ways for bettering and expanding collective.aporia.
